Honka offer solid and laminated round log walls in a variety of sizes.
All Honka log wall systems include:
- Advanced computer controlled kiln drying (30-72 days to approximately 13-15% moisture content)
- All logs are precision milled in a CNC machining operation maximising the surface point contact while minimising warping, twisting and checking.
- All logs are pre-cut, numbered, pre-drilled and arrive at your site along with complete log wall diagrams, ready for assembly.
- Special grooving for door and window battens.
- Through bolts for log corners, beams etc.
- Pre-drilling for electrical runs.
- Pre-cut grooving system for interior partition wall framing.
- Round log profiles include flat forming around windows, doors and for electrical plugs and switches.
- Unique wooden dowel system keeps logs straight while allowing for settling.
- Special polypropelene and "Pro Tech" sealing strips between logs.
